Objective Statement
This disaster management app is designed to empower individuals and communities by providing tools and resources to effectively prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural disasters, ensuring safety, resilience, and timely support during emergencies.
Problem Statement
Disaster management apps have several issues that make them less effective. They have cluttered pages, no real-time connection with others, and silent alerts that can be missed. They also lack features like interactive drills, an SOS button, and an emergency beacon with flash and sound, leaving users unprepared and unsupported during emergencies.

Card Sorting
Objective: To organize app features into logical groups and understand user mental models.

New blue tooth mesh technology for "recovery stage"
The calls and messages will only get through if the signal is strong enough and most of the times the lines are busy.
The only way for groups to alert a disaster relief forces is through GPS and arial view unless they move to a better location.
Right information is lost through the pool of unwanted information in social media.
Problem
Neither Bluetooth nor Wi-Fi allow for a wide range when trying to send messages between two phones.Max range for Bluetooth enabled connection is 90-100 m
Solution
Utilizing Bluetooth mesh.
Comparing to normal Bluetooth technology Bluetooth mesh can achieve a greater distance by utilizing phones as nodes/intermediates to transmit signals.
While other peoples phones are used to send a message, only the sender and the receiver will be able to see the content of the messages. The other phones just act as signal amplifiers.

Instant notification reminders for "preparedness"
Users can keep their notifications on to receive any slight details of a natural disaster that might happen which will help them to be prepared for the natural disaster.
